Who is "Tahlequah Trails" or Tahlequah Trails Association?Tahlequah Trails Association (T.T.A.) is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization and local partner of IMBA. The organization consists of an board of directors, members, volunteers, and community supporters that are dedicated to building and maintaining sustainable, natural surface trails in the Cherokee County. "Tahlequah Trails" is not a park or place. Our organization manages the mountain bike and hiking park, Welling Ridge Trails, which is located just east of Tahlequah.

How can I donate to Tahlequah Trails Association or volunteer?Donate: You may donate an online payment one time, monthly, or yearly to Tahlequah Trails Association by clicking on the donate button below or located on the homepage of our website. You can also mail us a check to PO Box 1434 Tahlequah, OK 74465 and make the check payable to "Tahlequah Trails Association". Volunteer: You may volunteer by clicking on the volunteer tab on the homepage. You may also sign up to volunteer by clicking on the button below.

How do I find "Welling Ridge Trails" park?Welling Ridge Trails park is located at the address of 19679 S. 550 Road Tahlequah, OK 74464. You can find it by searching it under Google Maps or clicking on the button below to get directions from your location.

What is allowed on Welling Ridge Trails?Bicycles, E-Bikes (Class 1 only), Hiking/Foot Traffic, and Pets on a Leash are allowed on the trails. Class 2 & 3 E-Bikes, Horses, and any type of motorized off-road vehicle are NOT allowed on the trails at any time!

Is Welling Ridge Trails park open year round?Yes, Welling Ridge Trails park is open 365 days a year unless we advise it is closed due to unsafe conditions, maintenance, or weather conditions not allowing use. Tahlequah Trails Association has the final say so to when trails are closed. Welling Ridge Trails is open from sun up to sun down.

Is a bathroom located at Welling Ridge Trails?Yes, a bathroom is located at the parking lot to Welling Ridge Trails. It is located close to the entrance and trailhead.

Is tobacco or smoking allowed on the trails?Welling Ridge Trails park is a tobacco free property and no ignition sources are allowed on the property. Thank you.

Is hunting allowed on Welling Ridge Trails park or property?Hunting is NOT allowed on the 200-acre mountain bike & hiking park or at the parking lot.

Is there a map of the trails?Yes, you may find a map of the trails to view at the kiosk near the trailhead of Welling Ridge Trails or you may download a map to your smart device by clicking on the button below. Welling Ridge Trails is also currently on AllTrails and TrailForks.
